Apparently Trump absolutely PACKED Madison Square Garden

And that's at the heart of it. If you're hiring a plumber and all he can tell you is that the OTHER plumber in town is bad, it doesn't say a damned thing about if he is even CAPABLE of doing the job. "Other plumber bad" is not a compelling reason to believe you even know which end of a pipe wrench to use. Years ago, I had a procedure done, and there existed the remote possibilty of death. I asked my surgeon - he said he'd DONE it over 3000 times and never lost a patient. If you're hiring a surgeon, "other surgeon bad" is not an argument.

An election is a hiring process. That is exactly what it is. The public is making their choice to hire someone for an important job. The Presidency is a very serious, very demanding job requiring a wide range of leadership skills, knowledge and accomplishments. It's not enough to have ideas on how to do something. You need experience in having done them. Thus far, Kamala has only SPECIFICALLY articulated a handful of ideas, most of them are terrible and a couple of them are outright unconstitutional.

Either the past four years are evidence of Kamala's leadership in the White House - or evidence of NO leadership. She either was "the last person in the room" - the person making decisions WITH Joe Biden and thus, accountable and responsible for the state of the nation - or she's done damned near nothing. She tries to make the case repeatedly that she is NOT Biden and would do things differently - but she has also said she wouldn't do ANYTHING differently. IF she were in the same situation, she'd make the same choices.

So we either have two full Presidential terms to compare - Trump's vs Kamala's - or Trump's vs. virtually zero executive experience. She either was a part of Biden's decisions or not at all. I can't believe the idiocy of the fear campaign of the Democratic Party - we have a complete term in the White House to use. If he is going to be an authoritarian dictator, it sure didn't seem like it when he was there. Comparing the two terms - in my opinion - Trump's was better. The current one is disastrous no matter who you blame.
Cute analogy with the plumber, if I were to fire one (2020 election) and they come back with a group of minions, break into my house, then threaten to kill me (Jan 6), yeah, I’m never hiring that guy again. I think over 50% of the American people feel that way and we’ll see that in November.

Trump ceiling is 47%, you see how the followers in this forum will support him no matter what and can’t seem to wrap their head around how someone could support Biden and then Kamala. It’s because we support their administration, their policies, not a celebrity personality who just loves being on camera.

Trump won’t live forever, he’s almost 80, who’s after him? JD?

I don't get this repeated story of "Trump stopped the border bill".

First - when it was being voted on - sorry, but Trump had ZERO POLITICAL POWER. In Congress, you can lean on a stubborn Representative or Senator - but a man outside of politics really can't do it at all, unless he's somehow bankrolling of their campaigns.

But second - what they were PROPOSING was about the worst load of dreck that's ever crossed the room.

Bear in mind, the Dems have a completely different idea of what Border Control is and is supposed to do. They want more agents - SO THEY CAN PROCESS MORE migrants. They aren't "guards" to them. THAT is what they wanted in that stupid ass bill. They wanted to INCREASE the levels of illegal arrivals to be allowed in to levels unseen before. They wanted wide latitude for bringing them in by other means.

It wasn't a border CONTROL bill - it was a "hey let's make the gates WIDER and have MORE ways to let them in" bill. At the VERY BEST, the Dem's proposals have been - maybe we could do more VETTING - before we let them in.

They do not - ever - ever - intend to curtail the flow of illegal entry. They want it MORE. Spending money on a border bill is giving them carte blanche to let in MORE. Period.
_______________________________________________________________________________

Lastly - and this sickens me - they want to lay the blame for poor vetting on the backs of Republicans for refusing to pass the bill. Because the EXISTING SYSTEM doesn't have to let them in AT ALL. If you can't vet someone properly - they DO NOT COME IN. That is ON THEM.

Can you imagine the FDA saying - well, we didn't have enough funds to approve these drugs - so - if a lotta people DIED BECAUSE WE APPROVED ONE, it's those damned Republicans who didn't give us more money! NO dammit, if you don't have data, you don't approve. Period.

Oh sorry boss we didn't have the guy's credit score, so we approved the loan ANYWAY. Stupid. Sorry. Not an excuse.

Their voters are morons and have no idea how their government works.

They only know their programming: If Kamala says it, believe it and repeat it.

Didn't that happen with all the COVID vaccines?

Apparently the real NAZIs beat the GOP to reserve MSG.

The 1924, 1976, 1980, and 1992 Democratic National Conventions were held at MSG. On October 31, 1936, Franklin D. Roosevelt delivered his last speech before that year's presidential election. In it, he criticized the interests who opposed the New Deal, stating, "I welcome their hatred."

He's kind-of a comedian, mostly does podcasts and "roast" style comedy, like Jeff Ross. He's also gay and it seems like a lot of his jokes are on the raunchy side and have to do with being gay. Certainly an odd choice for a Trump Rally.

That falls under the "tell a lie often enough" category.

But also a smart person would ask what else was in the bill? Democrats in particular have a nasty habit of including something completely unacceptable in an otherwise beneficial bill, so it gets voted down and they can go, "Oh, Republicans want to kill your grandmother! They want to kill veterans!" when what killed the bill was the inclusion of tax payer funded sex changes for incarcerated illegal aliens and minors without their parents' consent.

Trump must be pretty damn convincing as that border bill roll call shows Democratic Senators Booker, Butler, Markey, Padilla, along with Independent Senators Sanders, Sinema voted Nay on and that Manchin, Menendez, and Warren didn't vote at all on it.

A SIX HOUR RALLY. WITH 20,000 PEOPLE AT IT'S FULL CAPACITY.

At the end of the day, Trump's guest speakers at the MSG Event ALONE beat out any that Kamala has had in her whole campaign. OR Biden, for that matter. From Elon Musk to Tucker Carlson (with the best laugh in the whole world!) and from Howard Lutnick, chairman and CEO of Cantor Fitzgerald to Dana White, CEO of the UFC? I mean seriously.

...and how about Dr. Phil out there talking about Bullying. That was an unexpected topic and one of the speeches that I was really intrigued by.

The Dems and the media are apoplectic going into the final week before Election Day - and that's schadenfreude to my ears!!! :dye:
