Appliance Repair

I seem to remember in one of SG's threads where her problems with her washing machine were discussed, somebody recommended an appliance repairman.

A snowbird friend has a leaking washing machine. (She's currently in FL, and my wife and I are watching her house.) After inspection, it appears the seal at the bottom of the tub is the culprit. Problem for me is it's one of those apartment style units where the dryer is mounted above the washer, and it's built like a tank. I'd have to load it on my truck and drive it over to Gilligan's shop for disassembly, repair, and reassembly.

Truthfully, I don't have the time or desire to tackle the job. Any recommendations will be appreciated.

I agree with KingFish. Their service is quite great but when my washing machine had a leaking I tried to fix it all by my own. It ended up with bigger problems than before. I went too far with my force when I tried to fix a couple of details. I thought that the problem was in poorly twisted bolts but that was not a case. The leaking started to grow and I had to contact find specialists at appliancetechnician.ca who turned out to be real professional in their field. Now I'm going to think twice before fixing things by myself.
