I will re-gift. To be sure not to give it back to the person that gave it to me I will tag the gift with who it came from. This year I only have one to re-gift, a toy the baby already has.

I re-gift. If it's not something that I'll use or want & it's decent & someone else will like it, why not? I mean if I already have it, why go buy another? I won't give it back to the person who gave it to me though. Works especially good at the office gift exchanges.....

You all have it wrong. I constantly get terrible, useless gifts from one of my friends. I just turn around and sell it on eBay instead. I've made money 3 times from crap she's bought me.

This year, she got smart and gave me an Olive Garden gift card.

Other people have said the same thing - I won't re-gift crap just to get rid of it. But I have re-gifted nice gifts that I know I personally wouldn't use but someone else would appreciate, especially if it's something you KNOW they would like, but you're not interested in using.
