Arrest made in JonBenet Ramsey murder case

I have to agree with Wenchy. Hang the POS! What's wrong with hanging? It's quick and relatively painless, I would think. Cheap too!

I know, we are too PC, and somehow they'd charge his civil liberties would be violated.

On Fox News, they're revealing that this POS was in jail in Thailand on pedophelia charges, and some bad things were happening to him while he was incarcerated, and he wanted out, to be returned to the US.The FBI somehow picked up on it(probably from the Thai police) and persued the return of him this weekend.
I bet when he gets back here he recants and says he only confessed to get out of Thai prison.

I was thinking the same thing. UGH! Millions of dollars spent for his defense.

He should be hung for lying...but...what about the DNA evidence and the information that was not made available to the public?

Let's hope they interrogate the heck out of him, put him through several lie detector sessions, and attach electrodes to his gonads, all in the interests of getting the straight story. (Lord forgive me, but we have to send a clear message to people like these.)

Pedophelia charges in Thailand? Suspected murder of a six year old here?

The authorities are going to question this dude until he cops a plea.

The best part of this story is all the hand-wringing going on with the media. I was watching coverage of the story on MSNBC and the anchors were all talking about how horrible it's been for the Ramseys these past ten years, and asking what could have possibly led to the "rush to judgement". They kept talking about the police and the public, but managed to never mention themselves in the equation. Then they got the Ramsey's lawyer on the phone and he finally started pointing the finger of blame not at the cops but at un-named sources and speculation by media sources.

Greta VanSusteran was on TV earlier talking about how police will try to hold back information about a crime, and then damned herself as one of the people who's been guilty of probing too deeply and potentially making the work of police harder. She also said how wrong it was to rush to judgement and get bogus information out on the news too soon. Then just a few hours later she says on her teaser how she's going to have the alledged killer's brother on her show, the forensics guy from the case, etc. What a loser.

The only media type I heard saying something worthwhile was John Gibson on Fox. He said "so how do you make all this up to Mrs. Ramsey? Engrave "She didn't do it" on her tombstone?"

He confessed.

Huh?? Autopsy results showed JonBenet had received a massive blow to the head and was strangled with a rope that the killer tightened by twisting an attached paint brush handle.

This is way to weird, did I read there are some implications the Ramsey's knew of this person?

He's only saying he didn't mean to to try and get 2nd degree instead of 1st degree murder.

Watching the news right now and his brother was phone interviewed to say he thinks John may have been with his family in Georgia (Atlanta, if I remember correctly) during the murder's timeframe.

John Karr must be a delusional schizophrenic pedophile, then, if he is confessing to something for which he is not guilty.

He does have an odd appearance... even if he is a "nice guy".

He should have gotten choking advice from Jaie first.

One more time on this thought: It was brought up by the Steve and Edie crew on Fox Morning News that this may very well be the case.

There's inconclusive evidence that Karr was in Boulder during the time of Jon Benet's murder. He sure as hell didn't like what the Thai prison system was like.

Until they get a DNA match from the little girl's clothing, and more found under her fingernails, this is all up in the air: speculation.

I haven't followed the case, other than being repulsed by JonBenet's parents putting her in makeup like she was an adult woman.

Basing my opinion on what I've seen so far of Karr... this is where I'm putting my money. I don't think he did it. Confession or not... we should find out soon when they do the DNA tests.

i'm glad that they have the lead and all, but i still think there was something fishy with the family. I mean, she was supposedly killed (or placed) in the basement of her own home and the parents didn't have a clue that a stranger had even been in the house...
