I don't think he's "fake", but he didn't do it. He's been so obsessed with the case that he has convinced himself that he did it. He truly believes it. It's kind of like how JPC has convinced himself that he makes sense and people want to vote for him.
If you think about it he is smart.

Last week in Thailand broke in a flop house. Next month he will be cashing a check from Current Affair or some other cheese ball newmagazine back in the USA.

Breaking News........

A U.S. law enforcement official tells CNN that the man held in the slaying of JonBenet Ramsey offered details about the condition of her body that have never been made public.

I'm a little skeptical that a group of people held on to these secrets for 10 years. Rarely can one person keep a secret, much less a group of people.

That is one very warped dude. :twitch:

This is sounding more and more plausible:

Looks like the DA got played.

There is still a slim possibity that he could be the one, but I'm doubtful.:ohwell:

It would seem this guy has been obsessing about Jon Benet's murder for nearly 10 years, and as earlier explained, he may have "talked himself into the crime", meaning he's gone over it so many times, he has taken it on -
in his own mind - seeing himself as the murderer.

Supposedly he gave them information about the murder that wasn't released to the public......

I heard that. But they aren't saying yet what that information is, are they?

OR, are they trying to "fish in" another suspect out there? Could the cops/law enforcement types be trying to play on the ego of someone else who has kept quiet, but is on the suspect list?

I like watching CSI Miami/Las Vegas, but I don't know if I could ever do it. Too many possibilities etc. They make it look easy on the tube, but I'm not so sure.

Giving misinformation is all part of the psychology used by police because there is plenty of sickos out there that are just dieing to take credit for something they didn't do. :duh:

They always without information from the public so they know when someones knowledge is genuin.

My husband is a C.S.I. in D.C. and has been for about 10 years now, and it isn’t like the TV show C.S.I. at all. On that show, they have the C.S.I. gathering all the evidence, going to the morgue AND doing the investigation (it’s TV so all crimes get solved).

In the real world, the C.S.I. gathers the evidence and they do visit the morgue WITH an investigator (sex unit, homicide, criminal investigator – the crime determines which investigator goes) who is actually responsible for putting it all together so to speak. Of course they inter-mingle but a C.S.I. isn’t actually the case solver, it is a conglomeration of all the components that solve crimes.

I don’t watch C.S.I. at all now, because the first season, I believe it was one of the first few episodes had C.S.I. going into a homicide scene and getting blown up by a terrorist attack, just a bit too close to home for me.

It isn’t too difficult to find out facts of the case that haven’t been released to the public, especially a case that is 10 years old. We live in an arrogant world and even the police will brag about what they know about a case, then they tell two friends………:jameo: I hope this is a means to an end of a tragic story that really has gone on way too long unsolved. Imagine living your life knowing your child was killed and never seeing the perpetrator brought to justice? I can only think of one worse thing than that and that is having your child stolen and not knowing if they are dead or alive.
