As of July 31 Marylanders must wear masks if they go OUTSIDE

So, I've heard if you clean your glasses with shaving cream it helps to keep the fogging down. I wear contacts 98% of the time, so the mask only fogs up my reading glasses when shopping in public...lol...and I don't have any shaving cream..but I would think maybe something like Rain-X might help too..you just need a coating on the lenses that moisture from breathing won't stick to. I would test the Rain-X theory on a pair of dollar store reading glasses before my $$ seeing eye glasses first, however.
Do not cover your nose at all

If you scuba or snorkle, the best thing to do was spit in your mask. Try it on your glasses.

So there's the solution - go bust out some windows and set some fires and you'll never catch the COVID.

It's craziness with the masks. When on vacation, I was wearing a mask a lot more, since we were in a lot more public places and waiting in lines, etc. I wasn't worried so much about getting COVID as I was that I have to keep washing the mask because it irritates my skin, especially when it's very hot outside. :frown:
We went to Northern NH, and it was just the opposite, we went to ONE town where they required masks in their stores, and even then some stores didn't care. WalMart, no masks, CVS, Wahlgreens, Gas Stations, no masks.. The ice cream shop required distancing, but still no masks.

It's a breeze flying in/out of Manchester. No masks required at the airport. :yay:

IRT people talking about when/where the virus is contagious....come on. Use your head for once. It’s like the sobriety checkpoints. The goal isn’t to catch every single drunk driver on the road; it’s to make people think twice about driving intoxicated.

The goal with masks isn’t to catch every virus; it’s to make the virus think twice about being contagious.

Massanutten was all about the masks out in public except when on the chairlift, the tubing, the zip line, sitting at a restaurant table, etc.

Also, they were very disorganized with their activity registrations, lines, refunds when bad weather hit, :blahblah: Without fail, they blamed all issues on COVID. "being patient in these times" "we're all in this together", when it usually boiled down to improperly trained staff. In the restaurants and the gift stores, those employees were well-trained and they were very efficient and very helpful. The others were not.

Here in Branson the only stores that require it are Walmart and Ulta. I do know that Walmart gets a lot less of my money because now I go in, get what I need, and leave. I don't browse around anymore. And Ulta is easy to avoid because I never need anything from there, I just like to browse and impulse buy.

I get in and get out. I've never been one to browse because I don't like shopping.
Yes I am in my 50's and I don't breathe as well as I did when I was 24 or 34 ...... my chest starts hurting after 10 - 15 min

Now that I see others have this problem too I don't feel so worried about myself. Everytime I take it off I feel like I'm gasping to get air in and I'm breathing really hard.

It's already been proven in many studies masks do not stop viruses. Health care workers wear them to prevent infection, bacterial, of patients who've operated on, or are with comorbidities.

Only cowards, Hogan and et al, demand everyone else give up their freedoms just so they can feel safe. The establishment is trying to pit the American people against each other as a means to pave a path to tyranny. I believe what the elites want more than anything else is to trick conservatives into forsaking their own principles. If we do, we become hypocrites that can no longer sustain a movement for freedom. By becoming the monster to fight the monster we hand our enemies victory. This is unacceptable. No more mask wearing, unless a person 'wants' to.

When I absolutely have to have a "cloth face covering" to get past the hall monitor/recently appointed public safety specialist at the grocery store or other establishment, I have found that cheesecloth is indeed a cloth. I have fabricated a very breathable mask that looks fabulous. Ladies may want to try lace or another breathable fabric.

And now this....

It'll be interesting if this is enforced and even more interesting to see if there's compliance. I honestly can't see all these people milling about in their Trump hats and Confederate flag shirts masking up.

I found out about this when we stopped by Cheeky Monkey for a drink this afternoon. The owner was like, "Psh. We're outside city limits and they don't tell us to do chit." Which is why smoking is allowed in their bar.

So far we haven't been anywhere where there's a citywide mask requirement. Branson's goes into effect on Friday, supposedly.

Hogie is going all in for 2024, I doubt he would make it far enough to the general but I'd laugh that he thinks this kowtowing to the hysterics would help him with liberal states and the media coverage. He'd be called a Hitler racist like every other republican and lose BIGLY in maryland. If Biden is able to stay even remotely moderate policy wise (big IF with the people pulling his strings) I would just stay home instead of voting for hogie in 2024.
