Wow, I never realized Pandora ate up that much data.

If you do not back out of, or go to running apps and manually shut down sites like Pandora, Amazon music or other similar sites, they will continue to run in the background.

There might be an app killer for shutting down those music sites when not in use.

I think I need to examine Boy's data usage. If it is what I expect I will be taking his phone and deleting the Pandora ap that he claims he never uses.

Oh!! You can also check the memory usage and see which programs run the most.

For my phone it is Setting, applications, running services, all.

Odds are good he doesn't think to clear the cache.

And Dye is correct, the programs still run in the background unless they are specifically turned off.

I can only imagine that either (a) You're being ripped off with false data usage tracking or (b) You're actually increasing your usage with the idea you'll never reach your limit. I mean, 1 GB is a LOT of data.

We have AT&T, and we were having a problem with "phantom" usage one phone. I did a quick internet search, and it was a problem that many other customers were having.

I have sprint and have not had a signal in leonardtown for the past week while at work. Today is the first day I've had one. They must be upgrading lines.

This may sound weird but it seems like the more humid it is, the suckier service is. Maybe it's just me.

Not that weird, search "cell signal ducting and trapping". Atmospherics can play havoc upon signals.
