Thank you for you delightful and kind comments!!!!:buddies:

You just flip out on people. She was just making a comment about bathing cats. Good Gawd, you could do so much better if you were actually nice and didn't take everything as a personal attack. I would never try to bathe my cat, as I would get ripped to shreads. You're welcome to try it, though. :buddies:

Go back and read the comment.
It was not a kind and thoughtful comment, it implied that I was harmful to my cats...which I am not.

And perhaps if you taught your cat to enjoy a bath when it was young, like I am doing to these kits, you would not be attacked by you cat.
But if you deserve it, then so be it!
If you bath a cat right, you do not get scratched.

Why do you feel the need to come into a topic and find fault with me?

My kittens are done weekly until they are sold..makes for a cat you can safely bath..we bath cats here all the time..mine are good even with the blow dryer..that is what flips out most customers cats..

I think she was making a joke about washing a cat. She wasn't implying anything, you just get defensive every friggin time.

Our cat was found on the side of a road, weighed less than a pound and we took it in. Cats don't like baths. That's pretty well known. I rescued an 8 year old dog a year ago and have spent thousands on her since I got her. Get off your frigging high horse.

I didn't come into this thread to cause a problem. I was defending her. She is very sweet and you jumped on her. You need counseling.

I do the same with all my foster cats...Bath, nails, clean ears, play with feet, play with ears..get them used being messed with and they get used to it and do a better job in a home with little kids...and with being bathed and getting nails clipped.
Makes for much better pets!!!

Heck, I had one tuxedo that loved to join you in the shower!!! You had to shut the door or else expect a visitor!!!!!

Wally gets a bath every week and I just bought a bottle of Blue Coat...so he will shine after his next bath Sunday!!!
He purrs and loves being brushed with the breeze of the blow dryer!!!

Wanna come over and bathe my cat? He doesn't seem to understand the self-grooming stuff real well. I'd love to have a lesson on how to bathe him. He's about 6 years old.

I realize I can not and will not help everyone who askes..I cant, my own life is TOO busy.

Sorry for your cat population problem. Hope you got it worked out by now.

And I am sorry I let you and your cats down.
Thank you so very much for reminding me of my failures.:howdy:

You are assuming you know what she meant...as in "I THINK" she was making a joke..
Well. it failed..and it did not come across as a joke.

I dont care how much you spend on any animal..that is your business and not really a part of the topic.

Topic is about the end of baby season and the weaning of 5 kittens.

News for you...cats do very well with baths IF introduced to them at an early age.

But is so sweet of you to go defending your girlfriends here...really sweet.
Now that you are done, and have your meetings all set up for tomorrow, go to bed and have a nice night.

I like to just run water over them then soap them and rinse...most kittens when bathed regularly like I and Inky do ...do very well as adults. If you get a kitten it really is nice if you groom them regularly so if they get "dirty" you can happily take care of it..
