My mothers can spend hours in Babies-R-Us. But if you ever want to go crazy and spend oodles on him go up to Arundel Mills. The have several baby stores. I went nuts with my first two.

I really am not. But you can get perfectly good new baby stuff low price at Target or Wal*Fart.
Call me snot nose, too, because I wouldn't give used baby clothes as a gift, either.

Not all of the stuff is used though. I got about 10 carters sleeper outfits w/ the original tags still on them from Kohls that said $8 and I got them there for $2! What a deal!
Look at what Loving posted about things still having the original tags and packaging on them. Would you still consider those used?

I wouldnt give them as a gift either. But I have given many friends clothing that my baby has grown out of... and I accept clothing from my friends their kids have grown out of :shrug:

Vrai - If you're up for a little trip go to the Annapolis Mall, check out Janie & Jack and the Pumpkin Patch. They also have a few more specialty, high end baby stores in the mall.
I don't shop at these stores regularly, but they always have clearance... VERY cute and unique items! And there is a Pottery Barn Kids up there as well.

The Gymboree Corporation is an evil plot to extort money from me!OK maybe I am just a huge Gymboree/Janie and Jack fan. Seriously though do not let the prices scare you. Just watch for the sales and you can get some pretty good deals at both stores online and at the store. I think the closest is Annapolis Mall for both stores but Arundel Mills has a Gymboree Outlet.

Babies-R-Us in Waldorf is my favorite for baby "stuff", not clothes. I love browsing all the baby toys, etc.

When my friend hand's down Kid's Closet clothes that I've given her, her sister-in-law can always guess they came from me. That is a great store and those sales are unbelievable. I finally had to stop walking by their because I was spending a fortune!

Babies R Us has some nice outfits that you don't see other places.
Target's baby clothes are better quality than WalMart baby clothes, but they aren't in them long enough to worry too much about that. Buy what you like, wherever you like.
If you are willing to make a roadtrip, the Spring Ridge neighborhood in Frederick has a community yardsale every spring. When we lived there, I bought some Baby Guess jeans that looked brand new for about $2.00. Lots of high end baby stuff there for dirt cheap prices.
