Betty Crocker brownie mix goes for about $2 a box and yields at least 9 brownies or more depending on how you cut them.
I don't get it. Everyone knows weddings are expensive when you go 'all out.' Why does everyone (generalizing -- not pointing an invisible finger to jeneisen!) try to 'cheapen' aspects of their 'big' special day?

If you are doing a big wedding, it's gonna cost $$$. If you don't want to spend big $$$, keep it small. And what's with pricing a cake $4/slice?

It's still a $600 cake! It's flour and water for crying out loud!
Personally, I'd have some heartburn laying down several hundred or thousand dollars for a dress and shoes I wear one day; $600 for a cake, $1600 for a videographer, God knows what for the reception, photographs, and the rest of the hoopla. Man, give me a silk tank-strapped dress from Hechts, some flip-flops and a beach in Mexico with my Mr. Right and keep it real. Makes me wonder sometimes who the wedding is for and the purpose of it all.
