Actually FYI,If a deer is struck by a vehicle,it is a "Law" that in order to keep it in any form,butchering or for antlers,etc.That you must obtain a "Deer Salvage Permit" Also know as "Road Kill Tags"to have/remian with the deer carcass/parts to legally have in ones possesion.Many Sheriffs deputies,state police carry the Permits /Tags.I myself in my position have the Permits/Tags with me always and sign off on many.

So then what you are saying is unless someone has a "Deer Salvage Permit" that they cannot do anything with them while laying on the road dead?
