Channel 9 said 5 dead. His family uses that bridge several times a day. I have my fingers crossed it's none of them.

News reported truck hauling utility trailer..trailer started swaying back and forth..other cars/trucks swerved to avoid trailer..and bam....major accident.

I would never make fun of you for that. I keep both hands on the wheel and look straight ahead when I'm driving over that thing. I have a fear of large bridges like that.

That accident looks awful. Those poor people.

Me too..both hands on the wheel..far right lane and remember to breath and no look at view...scares me alot!

I stay in the middle, The far right side on the way back has that metal grating, like on the benedict bridge, it makes the cars a little unstable on the road. I guess its there for drainage, but always seems to get a little squirrely.

I understand your fear, and I am not minimizing it, but the bridge didn't cause the crash or make it that bad. Crashes like this happen all the time. It's just more dramatic when it happens on the bridge, adding hours to the commute of thousands of people.
