River's Edge in Benedict is the only place I've ever been where I met some of ya'lls on a Friday in late June 2013. I thought it was pretty good.

Does Annapolis count as SoMd?

ohhh if you have some Annapolis locations I'd love to hear about them. We're spending a weekend up there in December.

Oh, I forgot to mention Okada over in Wildewood! Hate the dinner prices, but lunch is reasonable and delicious

My favorite Southern Maryland spots are:
Jerry's
Adams Rib (they have great steak too)
Mexico (in Huntingtown or at North Beach) for cheap good food, drinks and chips
and a little North in Edgewater, the Edgewater Restaurant (best cream of crab soup around)

We've been to Bobby Ruccis Famous Italian Deli and Doughboys in White Plains twice recently.
It's not fine dining, but the few things we've tried there have been very good. Anyone else tried them?

Bobby Ruccis has some nice entrees, but their bread (for subs) is a huge disappointment. It looks all crispy and light in the pictures, but it's actually a heavy, pale, doughy, undercooked mess (and yes, I've mentioned it, as it is made on site). I was stopping there once or twice a week for takeout on my way to work but after 4 or 5 disappointing meals I've pretty much stopped, except for the occasional salad (which are pretty dang good).

In no real order

Maries in La Plata - definitely for breakfast - their Fried Chicken Dinner is great, too.

Blue Dog Saloon - for their specials

Silver Skewers in Waldorf - you're missing out if you haven't been there!

Chick and Ruth's Delly is great for breakfast - I think the best greasy spoon breakfast ever. Huge menu, great milkshakes, always crowded with a terrific atmosphere and a very unique two level shotgun style layout. Chart House right near the water is very good.

Just had breakfast for the first time at Chick and Ruth's Delly recently. It is a fun, funky place. Be aware that the seating is VERY cramped...you are basically sitting with other folks when you eat. My boyfriend got the crab omelette, which he really liked. I got the creamed chipped beef, which was ok, but Marie's Diner beats it hands down.
One other place we like in Annapolis is Rams Head Tavern.

My favorite Annapolis restaurant is probably Stan & Joe's. I'm usually more interested in a bar that has great food than a restaurant that happens to have a bar.

I love to do lunch there. Great place, if you don't mind feeling like a sardine...

I'd like to recommend Aromi d'Italia in Annapolis, but it appears they are no longer open. They had the best gelato.
