In all honesty - WTF cares? Really - the only people who care about the size of the inauguration crowd are the people being sworn in, and their ardent supporters and ardent detractors - and the press 4 years ago.
The rest of us are like: "Anyway, what's for dinner?"
Did anyone expect a big crowd? A very large crowd would only serve the Right Wing Media* by giving them ammo to call Biden a Super-Spreader or whatever dumbass ****ing names they were calling Trump a few months ago.
Anyway write the inauguration off as covid related and move on with your lives.
I saw about 5 minutes of inauguration because I was trapped in a waiting room, and the media completely jizzing on their own faces was making me even more nauseated than I thought possible.
*I couldn't even TYPE that with a straight face
