Biden State of the Union: Americans can place prop bets on gaffes, mix-ups and even a ‘brain freeze’

Are libs today claiming it was a great speech and Biden is in full control of himself .?

If so, then he isn't the well meaning old man with a bad memory that can now stand trial for stealing top secret documents.
Imagine, the illegal bastard clubbed a gal named Lincoln while legals kill thousands.
Off script for a second and there he goes, no Easter Bunny to the rescue!

For those watching on the sidelines, this response knows you got them.

People of means get upset when the level of the S&P conflict with their feeling about the economy, most folks on here are more affected by the s&p than the minimum wage.
You sound so familiar, sock puppet. LOL

There it IS!! You lefty clowns are so predictable when it comes to your logically bereft replies. Your "cheat sheet" can't be more than 2 pages, double-spaced.
Yep.

See, if something is EASILY PROVEN FALSE - you just produce the evidence or the logic or the argument.
If it isn't, just throw poo - in this case, claim y'all watch too much FOX.

You know the old saw - "If you have the facts on your side, pound the facts; if you have the law on your side, pound the law; if you have neither the facts nor the law, pound the table." That is - insult people.

To add a bit to the irony that this arseclown is espousing...I don't even watch Fox News and have not for some years. These lefty freakazoids just cannot grasp the concept....even the most basic aspects of the concept..that there exist people who think for themselves and hold informed opinions. Because they - those lefty freaks - don't and they cannot.

Most of us..me included...are not such cowards that we ever feel the need to change our screen ID. You lefty trolls, on the other hand...must have dozens of them lined up. To add some additional spice to that, a lot of us know each other "in real life". That's true about Kyle and I, for example.

Go on with your trolling.

Grasping at straws much? We were all talking economy, and so you just pull something from a different pile of poo.

I'm a federal employee. I remember the one(s) under Clinton. I remember all of them.

It was also only a "Republican Congress" from December 22 to Jan 3 - two weeks - through which time, most of the members were not in session.
After that, it was a Democratic House. THAT is when the sh*t hit the fan, because the new Democrat House wouldn't approve a measly few billion for a border wall. Three weeks of Democrat bullchit.
I don’t think I’m grasping at straws pointing out that he was President during the longest government shutdown in the country’s history.

Biden is dealing with a Republican house and senate, not one shutdown.

Look, I liked a lot of what Trump did, expanding paternity leave for federal employees to 90 days per year for a new baby.

The tax cuts were a great and needed stimulus to my budget and it really helped the economy, it’s helped put us to where things are today. I liked that he was a fan of deficit spending, since we are the worlds reserve currency we can literally do whatever we want, he set the tone for big budgets and big tax cuts!

I also am grateful for his project warp speed, he gets no credit for that, the left won’t give him credit for anything and a lot of the right are terrified of shots.

That would be because you completely changed the discussion to something pointless. And history has shown that shutdowns have VERY LITTLE damage to the nation, to the delight of comedians and late night talk show hosts.

pointing out that he was President during the longest government shutdown in the country’s history.

Half of which was irrelevant, since Congress was out of session. Three weeks of it, the Dems held Congress, and they refused to do anything as long as Trump wanted a wall. AND - it was only a partial shutdown. Any agency that was already funded - they stayed open. My project was fully funded, so my work went unaffected. Actually three quarters of federal employees simply had to wait longer for a paycheck - other than that, we were fine and went to work, anyway.

Biden is dealing with a Republican house and senate, not one shutdown.

It's a Democratic Senate. Has been since 2020. Keep up.

Ultimately - it is Congress who shuts down or doesn't shutdown the government. The President has little to do with it.
Don't think so? Ask Bill Clinton and Barack Obama.

When Congress does nothing, the nation benefits.

They can’t infringe on citizens if they’re not legislating.

I stand corrected, seeing Mitch McConnell on tv all the time made forget the republicans don’t have the majority.

Bill Clinton and Barack Obama had government shutdowns with a Republican congress.

You know full well that the republican congress that went on recess without passing a budget had months to pass one and could have stayed in Washington to pass one. Trump is a very difficult person to work with and work for, I don’t think he’s ever dealt with folks that can toe to toe with him.

He would just fire them, like he did with all those cabinet secretaries.

You may like that, I think it points to dysfunction and a misunderstanding of how government works, it’s quite different than a business.
