Well, let's conjecture, then. Why do you think the FBI might have raided the PV employees' homes, and why would ALL of the news outlets - both Left and Right - be saying it's to locate Ashley Biden's diary?
Not going to hold you to it like it's the truth or anything, I'm just curious if you have any ideas what else it might be other than what is being reported.

If I had to make a guess I'd say it's because the diary contains incriminating allegations regarding her father. I can't think of any other reason why the FBI would be involved in this and so desperate to get it back.

Here's the thing:
The Swamp is a small community and they gossip a LOT. Telling secrets to smear reputations and gain an advantage is a commodity in that city. If in fact Joe Biden has some sketchy proclivities, they ALL know it - including the news media.
Just like in Hollywood they ALL knew about Weinstein et al. But they kept that secret under wraps and anyone who broke ranks (Corey Feldman, Rose McGowan) was attacked and destroyed. Even the ones who later jumped on the #metoo bandwagon absolutely eviscerated the whistle blowers. (Talking to you, Alyssa Milano.)
And such it is in DC. They all know who is on the take, who is a skeevy sex predator, who's a drunk or drug addict. And just like Hollywood they will keep those secrets until it benefits them not to.
