Why was it so high? That made no sense at all. I'm not for giving them anything but why not 5k, 10k, 20k, that sounds more in line, but almost half a million dollars?

What if....that wasn't a settlement to parents who were separated from their child, but a payment for the child sex traffickers? What if the overlords were like, "Hey Harvey, don't pay for these kids yourself, let us pay for it with US tax dollars"?
