...coming to the checkers at Daytona Nationwide race. Front end torn completely off the 32. Fans possibly injured as the cars got into the fencing again like Edwards did at Talledega.

And Tony wins! :yahoo:

The front axle and wheels of the 32 are also on the spectator side of the fence.

Kyle Larson, driver of the 32 did walk away.

Tony's interview in victory lane very subdued. He knew it was bad.

The first pic, there aren't many people in the stands. Have they given an update on any injuries of fans?

Hmmm...

It was obvious, even in real time as it happened, that fans had to be injured. The announcers, the drivers and anyone with an ounce of human dignity was immediately concerned for the folks in the stands.

Yet, your main concern was that it was a great race and Tony won? Your concern for the fans was no better than tertiary(?)....maybe even 4th after the fate of the drivers (who have massive safety features all around them.

Pretty sad...

BTW...not that you seem to care, but ESPN now reporting the injuries up to 17...2 are major and at least 1 in surgery.

Local news here is saying 18 injured, 6 were trauma patients. It will probably keep changing. I sure hope they all are going to be okay. You go to a race to enjoy the day, who expects something like this?
