No. I saw it on my way to work. He and another guy were picking the bike up in the middle of the northbound lane when I passed by.

What kind of tires??

I was running Metzler M1's and had a similar problem.. had a couple of quickened heartbeat moments at low speed with them.. Switched to metzler z6's and they are SOLID in the wet.

I'm running Metz M1 on the rear, Z6 on the front. Best of both worlds!

That's actually the set up I was running when I was having problems with the rain.. Was in the process of switching to Z6's, and of course the rear was ready for the change before the front.

Sorry,, reading comprehension problems.. I was the opposite. M1 on the front, Z6 on the rear.

Do like the performance of the Z6, but i REALLY like the wear.. I can get 8 - 10 k on a set of tires.. The first tires I had on it, I got about 5k...... Don't remember what they were, but they weren't Metzler's. Now I change tires maybe twice a year..
