What a disappointment. I wanted to believe he didn't really do those things or that there was some other explanation, but during his trial he behaved like a man on his deathbed - all lethargic and confused. Stumbling and looking around in a daze like he was Joe Biden or something. Legally blind....poor Bill Cosby....

Now that he's out of prison....he's putting together a comedy tour. He literally sprang back to life the second his conviction was overturned.

This will teach me to think these people are anything but disgusting putrid rapists and pedophiles. No matter how charming they are or how much I like the characters they play, they are evil and should all die slowly in a fire.

That being said, my mom took sister and I to see his stand up comedy act at the Circle Star Theatre back in the 70's. Way before his TV show. Who would have known...

My father had EVERY one of his albums - I grew up with them and probably knew every single routine by heart. Saw him live twice -once in the 80's at I *think George Mason University theatre and the next time in the 2000's down at Calvert Marine Museum.

I agree with OTR - disappointing is an understatement.

I remember an article I once read about Pol Pot. He commented that he thought history would be kind to him and he was simply - misunderstood.

Some people seriously don't get how they are regarded by the public.

The fact that Cosby manipulated young women for sex did not surprise me, but when he used drugs for that purpose that was a step that turned him into a criminal a pervert. He should have gotten life.

Exactly! Here was this man who made ordinary life hysterically funny (I almost fell off of the couch as I was laughing to hard at his dentist riff the first time I saw it on TV), played the "perfect" Dad on TV, had a line of children's books about how to be kind and not bully folks, and then THIS came out. Talk about a betrayal! I tend to be a forgiving sort, but this? Nope! No way! I try to stay away from wishing ill upon folks as I don't want the boomerang effect, so I'll just say.... Karma, please give this one your best shot, as you do it oh, so well!

As far as having any part in making a "comeback" successful? Not going to happen. He is dead to me.

I saw that I still have many of his comedy albums and I may just throw them in the trash since that's where he belongs too.

Isn't this is what most men do when they take a woman on a dinner date? Or at least hope that it will happen? Excepting the use of drugs of course.
