I have to work Black Friday at Old Navy, I am sure I am going to have a HUGE headache after that day is done!!

I don't know the special either, they won't tell us.

For once I did all my shopping well before Christmas. They had some killer sales in the park this past weekend! I'm parking my butt on the couch for Black Friday this year.

I love black Friday shopping. The unadvertised deals are amazing! I don't do wal-mart because of the around the building line, but I did hit the mall last year and it was great! Target was full of good deals too. I got the kids DVD players for next to nothing and my mom got my sister a pprtable DVD player very cheap!! You really can't beat the sales.

I am so very blessed
I'd rather slit both of my wrists with a dull Swiss Army knife than participate in the frenzy of Black Friday crowds. But that's just me - I hate crowds, especially ill-mannered ones.

I stopped at some of the stores last year at about 9am. They all still had all of their black friday specials in stock. It was more crowded then normal but not nearly what you would experience in more populated areas.

Why would anyone in their right mind, with a belly full of turkey, stuffed ham, mashed taters, squash, buttered rolls, apple pie and pumpkin pie, want to get up at 5 a.m. to stand in the cold to shop in stores so packed you cannot move?

God I love working in retail... Tons of people fighting over the same exact thing... By the end of the day my staff and I are left feeling like we have been through World War 3

We have a wood burner with a blower that works great. Our heating bills are almost nonexistent.

I have always gone out on Black Friday, I LOVE it, I don't think that somd is too bad compared to what I have seen elsewhere, just DO NOT try to use the Layaway that day, BAD IDEA....one year I decided to try to go out that day and do a layaway I was :nomoney: and waited in the Layaway line for like four hours, literally, so this year it is an all cash extravaganza!! I am waiting eagerly for it, just wish the sale papers would come out NOW!! :ohwell:

Thanks, I made that mistake once before too, and people are not friendly in the line while waiting especially to the employees. Here's to happy shopping
