"Black Panther" Malik Shabazz makes sexist remarks toward female news anchor.

After watching the video's, it seems malik shabaz blames everything on white people, with his words "do you know how many black woman are raped by white men". So assuming that how many white woman are raped by black men. cant stand people like sharpton and jackson due to the fact that everytime a white person is discriminated against, or a latino or any other race they dont say ####. But once a it happens to a black person all hell breaks loose and they defend the person no matter what. I think its racist in its self to still say that whites owe blacks for slavery, i think the stuff in the 50's and 60's might still have an effect but slavery, if you want to keep the past alive maybe we should go find today's relatives of benedict arnold and beat them into the ground just because they are the decendents of someone from the past who had an effect.

I think something only racist when someone makes it racist, Imus had every right to say what he wanted racist or not its getting blown out of proportion for no reason.

We don't. These people are the ones the black community such a bad rep.
Given most crimes are commited by blacks, but there are so many others that you don't hear about because it is not news worthy
They are let to speak out as they wish with no one debating them. We all have problems but we do NOT need people like them continually stirring the pot so to speak.

Joe Scarborough completely owned some dude last night.

He said he was sick of being stereotyped as a NASCAR driving southern redneck but "I can just shrug that off because I don't have any problems unlike you black folks, right?"

Dude replies, "Exactly"

You can blame the media for that - they're the ones that invite folks to engage in public debate. It seems to suit their agenda to bring on some Black Panther to debate race with a white person. Why not put him up against Larry Elder, Ken Blackwell or Alan Keyes?

They don't do that because it negates the racial strife they're trying to promote. If Malik Shabazz talks about how oppressed he is, and Walter Williams comes back with, "What are you talking about???" it waters down the racism charge.

How else can you get mass exposure except through the media?

The media and their butt-sucking is the only reason someone like Al Sharpton gets a public podium to express himself. He has fashioned himself as a "civil rights leader" and the white guilt media accommodated him every step of the way. Without the media, he's just another black dude from Harlem.

Jesse Lee Peterson is a conservative and he is every bit as interesting, thought-provoking and telegenic as Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson. So why don't we see his face all over the TV every time there's a racism debate? Why are Jackson and Sharpton household names, yet most people have never heard of Shelby Steele?

So "WE" as a country are controlled by the media we rely on to deliver us unbiased news. Let's turn off the radios and TV's and get back to what? Newspapers? Where does it end? What do we do to stop this crap? It's all about greed and how someone can get the most money possible.

If blacks truly want to get along or at least want other cultures to understand them, they better dump Al Sharpton. Every time that scum opens his mouth, race relations takes a step backward.

Not just with the media but a large portion of it does. All the good stories are kept out of the media. These loud mouths are brought in just brought in to stir the pot.

I agree with Vrai on this. I think the media is to blame for most of this.

I think a lot of these black commentators have an excellent point. Who's the last black pundit to have a cable news primetime show? Alan Keyes, Lester Holt? Alison Stewart's the only black woman on cable news (MSNBC, 12pm).

The media fired up this whole racial debate then went back to talking about dead white stripper. They NEVER devoted this much coverage to the death of James Brown. No "Headliners & Legends" on James Brown. No nightly hour long reports on her?

I can go on for hours about the media, but they are racist.

Lexi has made some very good points as with many of the others.
I just wish that the was a way to gain the media's attention with the good things that not only black people but all people do instead of always focusing on the bad, blowing it out of proportion and trying to stir up shait.

To me it does not matter what color the person is who raped or got raped, it is a crime no matter what. Killing, stealing, doing wrong comes in many colors, dealing with on a color basis has never worked. Shoot them and then move on....problem solved. One thing they have in common, blood is red no matter what the skin color.

Unrelated but cute comeback.....I spoke to a friend last week because he was interviewed by a reporter for some TV news story. I asked him if he was nervous talking to the media people. He said no, not really but he did feel the need to take a shower afterwards. :lmao:

I was only using the rape thing as an example from the video.

I will agree that everyone no matter what race can blow everything out of proportion, but this about the people that support the black community saying that if whitey didnt do this we wouldnt do it, and so forth. Or that alot of them still blame america on the slave situation. This is about the black panthers (today), sharpton and any other suporters that think discrimination is only white on black and that blacks are the victim. Id hate to burst the bubble but blacks where not the first or only slaves, the jews, hispanics, and they are not the only ones that have been discriminated against, the japanese holding camps, indians, and today its the latino's. Yes back in the 50' and 60's there was a lot of racism but today its no longer a public matter and thats the problem. I will agree that color is nothing more than a way to call attention to details. Blood is red no matter what race, color, mix whatever. Thats what these organizations need to understand. If someone whould have said dead man walking to black students on trial for a rape crime then they would have been on it fast but since the are white what they dont deserve an apoligy? If they really cared about equal rights they would help all colors and races but they dont. Im not saying they have to but dont protect people based on race. If the KKK was to help fight a justice problem for a white person being blamed for a race crime they would be racist but, sharpton, jackson and others do the same thing but its not racist at least in there eyes.

You are right but some of these black people (not all) are so brainwashed into believing it's all whities fault and really believe they are owed something. It makes about as much sense as these extremist muslims who kill other people for allah and a place in paradise. Most of us know this isn't reality but you aren't gonna change their minds. They are too far gone.
