Black snake....

The bigger part of it is still inside the housing... that's just the tail end.

Looks like it was a black rat snake. Probably found a nice little spot on those heat saving metal fan blades...soaking up the heat, enjoying the sun, poised and waiting for a mouse to return until....

the thermostat went just above 78 inside the house. click.

I had same thing back in 1999 or 2000. My next door neighbor got the snake out for me as I wouldn't touch it. As he got it out, I said "KILL IT!" He said "Nah", and his Navy friend took it home as a pet. :dead:

Just a few weeks ago, a neighbor across the street told us that a BIG black snake traveled from her front yard to under our front porch. :otter:

You need to go find some snake marinade!

I've had some grilled rattler while I was in Arizona! (no, it does not taste like chicken!) :lmao:

You might try to take the casing of the A/C unit off, spray the innards down with some 409 cleaner, and then hose it off with the garden hose?

Should be just some sheet metal screws holding the case together.

That's the plan, right after I find some mosquito fogger. I was down there a total of 3 minutes to take the pics and got eaten alive.

The top cover should come right off, which looks like where this guy got stuck. The smell is awful, tho. I may have to hose it down with something first.

I tried some deep fat fried alligator on a stick, while I was in New Orleans, and I can't even remember what it tasted like!

Happy Camper
You people are meam!! That poor snake was turning his life around. He had just signed on for a couple of courses at CSM and was looking for a new job to support the babies his girlfriend just had this spring. How can you be so callous? :sarcasm: :roflmao:

Either way, poor snake, and poor GW Guy for having to clean up the mess!! For bug protection, may I recommend OFF Skintastic Tropical Fresh!! Smells good and keeps the nasty bugs away!! Oh, and it isn't one of the new wussy products... It actually contains DEET which is why it works!! Happy cleaning!
