I coaxed mine out by shaking her web and then blasted her with insect killer. I actually felt kinda bad because she didn't die right away, the spray can did not list spiders so I don't know how quickly this stuff would work. It crawled back under the porch and just quivered for awhile. Looked painful. But, better her than me!
I'm sure I do, but I have not seen any yet. I do check my bed at night and my shoes when I put them on.
My father in law got a Black Widow bite on his head and the doc told him dont worry about it. He lost a big chunk after a while. Brown Recluse is what I watch out for, I have seen pictures of what they do....but I have a deal with the spiders around here. They dont come in the house and I leave them alone. I have yet to see one in the house, other than those little tiny ones.
We have a crap load of Wolf Spiders living in my flower bed in the front of the house. Whenever I water my flowers they all come out....
I did get some of that bug killer that is indoor-outdoor. You spray it on the base boards all around your house. I'm still waiting for the hubby to put it down though.
