Ewww! That's ugly and bulky.
 Did that link go to the picture of your butt?

 I know it's not all "cute" like a flip phone, but it's far more functional (for me) than having a camera phone, and I've had too many problems with the flip part of the phone or its hinges being loose. Maybe if they had a more durable flip phone, I'd be interested. But all those shiney, silver looking ones look like they'd crack if you blow on 'em. :ohwell:

I'm jealous. I need to find a hook up. You do know if you get a new phone they will buy back the other one. I think one of the only requirement is that is powers up.

As I understand it, Bluetooth technology would allow you to use a wireless hands free device.
Yes, Bluetooth is simply a wireless communications protocol. Other things that can be done with Bluetooth (if the device(s) support it) are sync with computer/pda, send phone numbers from pda to phone for dialing, send data, etc. Bluetooth is also very low power which means it has a very short range (I heard ~10 ft) so it decreases the chances of picking up someone else's device.

Yea, for a whopping $20. :ohwell: I inquired about that already ... the I95cl won't get you much on a turn-in.

Really? They offered us $60.00 on a i60. Thats weird. You could always sell it on ebay. You would get more than $20.

That's an option ... but I also thought about keeping it as a back-up ... just in case.

Since they have come out with the new line of phones all i60, i95 etc are only on a donation list. I guess they can't use them. We should have turned in the phone when we had a chance. Oh well.

the wire?

Yes. If you have a wireless headset, you still have a little wire with a little block thingy that dangles off of it. Blue tooth does away with that. It's inside the phone. I don't know what else it does, if anything.

Yep, I think that's it, too.

I gotcha :yay: Thx! From what I read, BT also enables other devices with BTT to dial a number or something ... frankly, it sounds like some wizard-type technology that I probably don't need at the moment, but might be cool to have in the near future.

Maybe that's the voice recognition. No dialing, either. Completely hands free.

Come Play at BigWoodys
Just got back from a conference and got to play with some of the newer features that they are doing on the blackberry's.. Damn things will do about all of it. Im not a nextel fan so Im going through verizon here in the next month to pick up the phone.. But I keep looking at those damn Pocket PC phones too. Kinda nice to have an MP3 player also so I can have music on the plane.. came in handy last week.

My current phone does most of those things, but let's face it, the screen (while bigger than most <a style='text-decoration: none; border-bottom: 3px double;' href="http://www.serverlogic3.com/lm/rtl3.asp?si=23&k=cell%20phones" onmouseover="window.status='cell phones'; return true;" onmouseout="window.status=''; return true;">cell phones</a>) isn't as big as the Blackberry's, and the keypad would make for far easier email/txt msg's. I'm gonna call Nextel and see what they say.

Coincidentally, a coworker of mine just stopped by to remind me that his wife works for Nextel, so if I want pit passes for races or deals on Nextel stuff, to let him know and he'll hook me up.
Check to see if it has wi-fi.. I have a PDA with Blue - Tooth, and wi-fi.. Blue tooth I never use, but the wi fi lets me connect to my wireless network at the house, and any other wireless network I can find.. so when the kids are using the computer I can sit on my couch and still work on the internet (Yeah RIGHT)...
Blackberry's are commonly referred to these days as CRACKberry's, should give you an idea how good they are.. people seem to get addicted to them..

But I believe with a Blackberry you get hit with more bills then normal cell phone service.. you also have to pay for internet access
