Same here, I was actually supposed to go but had to stay home with a sick child. Oh well, Charles County will have theirs this coming weekend.
No way am I attending that. I was having panic attacks about getting out of this one. I did get a thumbs up from a guy that knew I was a new rider, which I guess means I was doing okay getting out of the parking lot.

Do you ride your own bike? I'm assuming here that you are female, but I could be wrong.

You really do need to get over this issue that you have with Harleys....some of us that don't give a rats a$$ about what people think about us own them because we like them....Same reason that you own your bike

I know that :huggy: and they have made major improvements in both the build quality and technology in the last few years, but I think a LOT of folks choose them because of the image, i.e. what other people think.

No, unfortunately I don't ride my own, I ride with hubby. I am seeing more and more women riding though and I am actually thinking about riding my own. With the price of gas going up and up and up, it would be the cheaper way to go.

We discussed this during lunch on Saturday. One of the women in attendance has a Suzuki Bergman 400 scooter. She rode it up to York PA a couple of years ago with us to tour the Harley plant. No problem running 75 on the highways and got over 50 mpg doing it.

I've seen them all over the place now. Looks like they are pretty quick too.
