Actually I do return their calls if they are pursuing a future date. That way there is no hurt feelings and I can continue to be sociable with them. If they continue to call after being honest with them, I probably would return their call - ya never know I could be offered free tickets to something. Avoidance can cause resentment. And especially since Blondie's & her blind date's mutual families set them up, she needs to be upfront, so that the family doesn't get entagled in this saga.
