Um no. Mac Books start at $1099, MacBook Pros start at $1999, and the iMacs start at $999. Where the hell did you see one for $3000?

My husband and his youngest son both are running parallels (Mac OS X and Windows) on their laptops. I have yet to do it because I have no need for it. :shrug: Husband has it because of work. Step-son has it because he's a mini geek. :lol:

Oh and the Mac mini is $599. We have that too.
