No, 7 y.o. male.
Hm. Has the family tried bringing in a trainer to help them? What all have they tried? (not trying to be rude, just wondering what all they're doing to try to remedy the situation)
No, 7 y.o. male.
Got a couple of answers...
My fault...I misread...the dog is female, not spayed.
Dang that's a cute dog. Look at that face!!!

Too big. Want a smaller dog this time. I've always been partial to small (NOT toy) dogs.Great dog for your kids...much better than a beagle or a terrier you were talking about.
Shots and heart worm meds up to date.
"I have not use a trainer. I have tried suggestions of vet. More toys separate play time. Feeding male first and showing male who is older the acknowledgement first."
But is the male the actual dominant one? I've listened to some really good pod casts on multiple dog households and they all say to treat the dominant dog as the dominant dog, even if you think it should be the other way around. If they're treating the Boston dominant and the Boxer is actually the dominant one, it can cause confusion and the lesser dog to challenge the position, which upsets the dynamics.
If you think they'd be interested, I can find the link of the podcasts. I'm not sure if they're interested in trying to fix the situation or would just rather place the Boxer instead.
Trust me, the dominant dog here is the female Boxer.
