Boxer in need of home

My Sweetest Boy
Got a couple of answers...

My fault...I misread...the dog is female, not spayed.

Well, there ya go. Unspayed female .. Female Boxers can be pissy with other dogs. Is she up to date on shots, etc. HW prevention?

Please tell her to contact the the boxer rescue I posted earlier.

Dang that's a cute dog. Look at that face!!!

Great dog for your kids...much better than a beagle or a terrier you were talking about.

A boxer got dropped off at Tri-County on Tuesday. My husband was there to pick up a dog and a gentleman said he lived in a trailor park, dog got loose and was told to get rid of the dog or move. He was very upset at the time and said he had tried other options but no one would return his call. Just hoping Boxer rescue may have room for 2.

But is the male the actual dominant one? I've listened to some really good pod casts on multiple dog households and they all say to treat the dominant dog as the dominant dog, even if you think it should be the other way around. If they're treating the Boston dominant and the Boxer is actually the dominant one, it can cause confusion and the lesser dog to challenge the position, which upsets the dynamics.

If you think they'd be interested, I can find the link of the podcasts. I'm not sure if they're interested in trying to fix the situation or would just rather place the Boxer instead.

Trust me, the dominant dog here is the female Boxer.
