She brought it up. If she didn't want people to know, she wouldn't talk about it on an open forum on the internet.

When your daughter (or son) gets involved with a lowlife dirtbag that you absolutely despise, DO NOT just simply let it run it's course and say "it's her life and nothing I can do about it."
Do everything in your power to run this person off, even if you have to kidnap your child and hold them hostage.
Because Jessie Davis' family certainly knew this guy was bad news. It's possible that they're all a bunch of lowlife dirtbags, so this cop seemed like a good catch to them. But certainly there were other problems before this - you don't have a loving, great relationship, then whack someone out of the blue.
I felt the same way with Laci Peterson. The Mom was saying that there was never any indication that Scott Peterson was a killer, but I don't think someone just wakes up one day and says, "Gee, I think I'll kill my wife." Certainly he had personality problems before that.

That's cool, but it also isn't rude to ask for more info as Socki said. Just as it isn't rude for you to refuse to post any more info.pixiegirl said:Actually, I replied to Vrai who knows exactly what I was talking about. It's not the first or last "inside information" post that'll be out on open boards.

If you thought it was your damn business, why didn't you just PM her first?baileydog said:Momma always said if you want to know something, just ask. Now go about your day, Pixie told me and I am now done. She was not obligated to tell me sh!t. BTW, thanks to Pix for getting back to me so quickly.

That was mean. The baby is innocent no matter what. He did not choose where he came from. And the mother did not ask to be murdered.Dixie said:Was it a grey, mixed-race baby? Too bad this women opened her legs for a married black man with no conscience
Received this lovely comment and red karma in different thread, but same subject. Just out of curiosity who the hell cares if the baby was mixed race?

To the P.O.S. that is sending out this karma, lovinmaryland said:thats what happens when you get mixed up with the black men
i am assume it was to be red but it showed up gray
How stupid. Like white guys don't kill their pregnant wives (Scott Peterson).Dixie said:Was it a grey, mixed-race baby? Too bad this women opened her legs for a married black man with no conscience
We're going through a similar situation with my cousin. Unfortunately her mother either refuses to realize how serious the situation is (despite the fact that she spent 5+ years in a severely abusive situation herself), or is too crazy (my bet) to care. I simply don't have the resources to help (not that the dummy wants help anyways), and can't put my child at risk by inserting myself into the middle of it.vraiblonde said:ATTENTION MOMS AND DADS:

My brother is a cop in a small VA county-last week he was on scene of a murder-husband kills wife's brother-brother and family tried time and time again to get her away from him. It came down to the brother taking a stand-he ended up w/a direct hit to the heart w/a 22.Nickel said:We're going through a similar situation with my cousin. I think if the woman in question is willing to accept help, then help should be given. Otherwise you get in the middle of it, and the first thing she does is call the abuser. Now the drama is on your turf, and she refuses to sever ties. It's not all black and white, there's a really large gray area. I have a hard time understanding why a woman would stay with an abuser, but apparently there are a lot of weak people out there.
The only time I've seen him hit her was when she was pregnant. He pushed her down in her front yard, and I ran out to bring her back inside. He turned around pulled his fist back and told me to mind my own business. You better believe that, with my child in the house, I did just that. When we called the police she refused to cooperate and press charges. I think she (and I'm sure this is true for some women in her situation) enjoys the drama and attention. Not to mention that he "wins her back" by taking her shopping and buying her expensive shoes and clothes. Every time something like this case happens, I print out the article and give it to her. She just shrugs it off. :shrug:Lilypad said:My brother is a cop in a small VA county-last week he was on scene of a murder-husband kills wife's brother-brother and family tried time and time again to get her away from him.
