I just wanted to take this time to thank everyone...Our team has had such a great response just in this past week. :smile: I am truly thankful and blessed by the people who have chosen to donate to this cause. Every 3 minutes someone is diagnosed with this ugly disease, 1 in 8 women will be affected by this nasty disease! We are on the road to stop it- and I thank you personally for helping.

Just to let you know- the 50/50 raffle has started! There is a potential winning of $750.00 or more. There will also be a second prize, of a gift certificate awarded when the drawing is held.
The winner(s) will be contacted by phone and/or email!

$1.00 per ticket!

Sales end March 31.


The Printing Press in leonardtown will have tickets to sell, along with a raffle box will be set up at the Hair Company in Leonardtown. Also at Nails by Geri in leonardtown. These 3 businesses have been gracious to have tickets available to the community for us! We are also going to be selling them at the Spring Musical at Chopticon High School, the 2nd week in March, and at our bake sales later on this month!

Also, all of us on the team will always have some on us- so if you see us- be sure to ask!

i don't have any tickets on me today, but I will have some tomorrow... also, if you need directions to get them, call me and i'll schedule a time when you can get them starting tomorrow... :yay:

Would ya'll be interested in something, such as a parking lot bbq, with live bands? We are looking to do something like this in april, as a last hoorah before the walk- and wanted to know if this would be something that would tweak peoples interest. Basically- it would be the general hamburgers, hotdogs, drinks, etc, and have live bands, and maybe some other vendors- nothing huge- but held in the parking lot of some place local? There is also the possibility that we would have some people there from the local breast care centers showing how to do Self breast exams, and having info on hand- along with other great things? Of course, all proceeds/donations made- would go straight to the walk. If you wanted to come and watch the bands and hang out, etc, you would basically bring a lawn chair and hang out, eat, and mingle.

Would that be a interest?

7am to 11am

All sorts of goodies. Brownies, double semi-sweet cake, rice krispie treats, cupcakes, all sorts of cookies, muffins, strudle, donuts. Come by and get some awesome muffins for breakfast!


The raffle tickets will also be on sale! Drawing on March 31st.

All proceeds made, go to benefit the walk!!

We now have raffle tickets for sale at in leonardtown at the new coffee house "Room with a Brew" next to Curves and Blairs Video in the Food Lion shopping center, across from Arizona Pizza.


Thanks to them for putting a box out for us.
