"Spears was last seen leaving New York City two nights ago on a private jet with her two young sons Sean Preston, 17 months, and Jayden James, 5 months, heading to Miami. Then she disappeared off the paparazzi radar, the entertainment television show "Extra" reported.

The rehab news comes after months of Spears' hard partying — including a public display of her private parts and collapsing of "exhaustion" on New Year's Eve — and friends reaching out to her to seek help."


That may very well be the next story making the news about Ms. Spears.

Sad how people like her get themselves into so much chit. Then they feel there's no where else to go.

Fox News seems to be obsessed with her. Why? And why should I care about another Hollyweird?

Fans, family, media they're not helping this gal. Stop feeding her, stop giving her all this attention when she does this weird stuff.

I just want to shake the crap out of people....

Well, her relationship with K Flop was scraping the bottom of the man pool. Not many places to go after that, for sure.

She could have faced the end of her career respectably and moved on to take care of her children. But her addiction to fame is so great that her children have become an afterthought.

No form of "entertainment" is worth watching someone deteriorate like this. And in this past week we've seen it happen twice.

How true is that?

Many people, in our society, seem to revel when they see/read stories of pop idols like Ms. Spears falling from grace(whatever she had to begin with.)

Both Anna Nicole Smith and Britany Spears are dominating the news shows.

Why?

What is it about us that wants to know the sordid details of these peoples' failures?

Are we waiting for the moment, the news item, that allows us to think out loud: "Hah! That's where the dumbsh!t messed up!"
