Thank God you didnt lose that tire at high speed.
and, its a good thing that you do have skills on the bike.

I had tires on my bike that would wrap around the rim if they went flat, they were not cheap, but when I got that flat on the front at 60 mph I was glad to have them.

I can't believe no one has mentioned Hendrix yet. Oh well.

I would have probably dumped it if I was going at a high speed. At least now I know what I can and can't control at a low speed with a flat and have a much better idea of what NOT to do if it should occur again. Once we left my bike, it was kind of nice to be on the BACK of a bike and not have to pay any attention to anything except the scenery.
