:yay: I've never heard anybody speak ill of their Buell, except for the Buell Blast. Very innovative design features, fuel is in the frame, the oil tank is the swing arm and putting the muffler at the bottom centralizes mass to improve handling.

I thought this was the one with the heated seat isue.

They chose, for reasons only known to doG, to run the exhaust up by your leg and under the seat. If I remember correctly that was one of the biggest complaints. Hot leg, and even hotter ass.

The muffler is the cannistor at the bottom and the exhaust exits by the rear wheel

My ex-GF had a bright yellow Buel M2 and she loved it. Sport bike that sounded like a Harley.

I think it's better at low speeds. Don't know much about it except that trials bikes have very little rake. So more stable at low speeds might be right.

Not unless I got my learnin' wrong.

Kawi's (MX) are noted for having more rake and being more stable at speed but, turn like a truck, wanna stand up and so forth in the corners. Suzuki's are noted for being absolute carvers but a bit vague and squirrelly on straightaways and whoops and for having the tightest rake angle in the game.

Or do I have what rake is backwards???

I think you're both right...
Little rake (more vertical) - squirrelly at speed, easier to turn (hence, easier to keep upright/more stable) when slow
More rake - more stable at speed, harder to turn

I believe you have it right. What I found funny was that BMW measures their angle from the vertical and all others from the horizontal.

Being the girly girl that I am (choke) I don't like it. It's not pretty. In fact, it's down right ugly. But that's just my opinion.
