Have you ever had the one's from Cluck You that have to sign a waiver and fill out a form before they will serve them to you? If so how do they compare?

I would not eat any thing like that. I have spices and sauces at home that are super hot and will make you cry and sweat but I like a good tasting wing with lots of heat, not something just HOT with no flavor.

I went today at a little bit after 11 am...
They were closed, saying a water main had broken. The owner popped his head out and said they'd be open later today. :ohwell:

Decent enough

Went for dinner tonight. Food was pretty decent for a bar type place, price was cheap. Large selection of food on the menu. Had a burger that was pretty good, gf had a crab cake (I told her she was crazy when she ordered it, it was $5.99, what kind of crab cake can you get for 6$??) . Suprisingly, the crab cake was pretty good, no Stoneys obviously, but a tasty sandwich. Decent selection of beers (around 10 on tap, lots more bottles). Had a pound of the normal "hot" wings, which had a good flavor, but I didn't think were hot at all. They taste less hot than the hot at Applebees. Next time I'll be trying hotter ones. I had no problems with the service, not the fastest, but I was never left waiting.
We shall see what crowd ends up hanging out there a lot, I live in LP, but there are some place I prefer not to go in due to a kinda rough crowd. I will definately be going back for dinner, and to try some of the other stuff on the menu.

Opening Night

I went down openinig night, I had a blast. We sat in there for a good two and a half hours, three people trying to eat five pounds of wings was a task. Great service, really people friendly. Oh yeah the frosted mugs are a plus, beer was just the right temp and the pitcher was never fully empty before a new one was on the table. 7 Pitchers in all for the two of us drinking, NOT TOO SHABBY!!!

All in all, I'll be back, MANY TIMES!!!

So that's all you got was potato salad stugg? Did you call and speak to the manager or let loose on a waitress who has no control over what they carry?

Well, I checked it out, after commenting on it so much in the past. They seemed to think it was cool I'd been to their other sites up near Silver Spring. (Cloverly and Plaza del Mercado, which I've only been to because it's near my parents and they do takeout wings all the time.

That said, they didn't disappoint, at least with wings. Friendly staff, occasionally inattentive - I hate to admit it, but it's something I've come to expect when the staff is young - and the wings were good. I tried some of the Xtra hot, and the XXtra hot. *Big* difference. (Oh - one thing - I *hate* wings with breading - *buffalo* wings aren't supposed to be breaded. Theirs were NOT). The Xtra hot - I think it was called "#### of the Walk" - were good. The NEXT level - Super #### - I was definitely sweating after just a couple. A *bit* too hot if I wanted a lot of them, but not painfully so. But I am glad I didn't go for the INSANE ####, as I don't think my stomach would have ever forgiven me. I told them I once ate 2 lb of their *COFFIN* wings, and they didn't believe me. (Honestly, I don't totally believe it either - Coffin is specialty, and about as nasty as they make it).

Anyway, a good mix of 'restaurant', bar, and pool hall, although I wish they could squeeze in two more tables. Good looking staff. I liked the place. Hope it does well down here. Hope they get some bigger TVs.

Do they have the video game system setup where each player has a wireless keyboard and the TV's around the tables show multiple choice questions and you have to guess the right ones before the timer runs out? Less time = more points?

I went again today and they said the fryer (sp?) and grill were both broken and all they had was soups, salads, and deli sandwiches - no wings!!

That's 3 times I've tried to go - first they weren't open the day they were supposed to be... then they had a broken water main... then the fryer was down!

I'm only giving it one more chance.... maybe later this week.

When I went in today, I didn't see nuttin' like that. :ohwell:
Maybe they'll get it in the future. It looked like they had plenty of extra space for either pool tables or more dining area... so maybe they just started small and plan on adding as business picks up.

And how do you know that?
That's what the guy who was at BW&B said when he poked his head out the door and told me they wouldn't open until later that day.
