Yes, I feel it deserves it's own thread. The Associated Press, via NBC4, is reporting Sean Taylor has died, according to a family friend.
How sad ...
And he also had an intruder a few days before....
I'm sure we'll be hearing more about this story in days/weeks to come. Hard to believe he had 2 random break-ins within a week.
Farewell Sean Taylor (#21), for this is not goodbye, but see you later. Sean Taylor lives on, as a memory. He will always hold a place true and dear in all Redskins fans' hearts. We're the Redskins, we will overcome! A tragedy like this does not bring us down, it lifts us up as one. One for all, all for one! We can, we must, we will overcome. This doesn't make the Redskins or their fans weaker, it makes us stronger. We will overcome! Hail to the Redskins! Hail to the burgandy and gold! HAIL THEIR GLORY!

Andy, that was so beautiful and I wish I'd have posted that. We have to be brave in the face of this terrible tragedy. Sean would have wanted it that way.
RIP, Sean. We will miss you always.
...I'm gonna puke.
You think Shawn Taylor would have gotten all misty over one of us getting whacked? It's said, but, please.
We're the Redskins, we will overcome!
Beyond the door
There's peace I'm sure.
And I know there'll be no more...
Tears in heaven
Sean is in a better place.
Goodbye Twenty one
Though I never knew you at all
You had the grace to uphold yourself
While those around you crawled
They crawled out of the woodwork
And they whispered into your brain
They set you on a treadmill
And they made you change your number
And it seems to me, you lived your life
Like a candle in the wind
Never knowing who to cling to
When the rain set in
And I would have liked to have known you
But I was just a kid
Your candle burned out long before
Your legend ever did
Loneliness was tough
The toughest role you ever played
Washington created a superstar
And pain was the price you paid
Even when you died
Oh, the press still hounded you
All the papers had to say
Was that Sean was found in the hood
And it seems to me, you lived your life
Like a candle in the wind
Never knowing who to cling to
When the rain set in
And I would have liked to have known you
But I was just a kid
Your candle burned out long before
Your legend ever did
Goodbye Twenty one
From the young man in the twenty-second row
Who sees you as something more than an Safety
More than just a young Ronnie Lott
And it seems to me, you lived your life
Like a candle in the wind
Never knowing who to cling to
When the rain set in
And I would have liked to have known you
But I was just a kid
Your candle burned out long before
Your legend ever did
Goodbye Twenty one
