Goodbye Twenty one
Though I never knew you at all
You had the grace to uphold yourself
While those around you crawled
That was beautiful! I'm still wiping up the tears!
Who is it about?
Goodbye Twenty one
Though I never knew you at all
You had the grace to uphold yourself
While those around you crawled
You have no respect. I demand you leave this thread unless you can show the proper reverence.

Did Shawn discover the cure for cancer or invent the internet and no one told me about it, or did he just play football?

It's writing. Just plain, stripped down writing. Taking the thoughts that went through my head, and wrote it on my tablet PC.What position do you play, Andy? Is it your fault the team has been losing?
I wanted to use this as my signature, but it wouldn't allow me (over 300 characters).Andy, that was so beautiful and I wish I'd have posted that. We have to be brave in the face of this terrible tragedy. Sean would have wanted it that way.
RIP, Sean. We will miss you always.
BULLETIN: Sean Taylor... 11-27-2007 08:23 AM fake
I'm a writer, I love to write. It's what I do. Does it matter how genuine it is?
FOR THE RECORD: I wrote what I felt, I didn't know the man personally, but have heard nothing but how good of a guy he was (especially with kids). And, I'll take Chris Cooley and Lindsay Czarniak's words over you haters any day.
BULLETIN: Sean Taylor... 11-27-2007 10:26 AM Good ord, he was a football player, not Ghandi. You moron.
Neither was Dale Earnhardt, but I mourned his death for years. Professional athletes do represent something. I love sports, that's why I plan to be a sports writer. So, the death of a Pro Bowl player means something to me. The death of a Redskin means something to me. If you've got a problem with it, that's your problem. Have you no respect, sir. Do you not feel emotion when something happens. My writing is the writing of a Redskins fan, and how a Redskins fan feels on this day.
Amazing none of you have the balls to stand up and say how you feel on here. Instead, you feel it necessary to send snide pompus arrogant messages to fans mourning the loss of a great football player.
How would you feel if that was your kid, and I came on here and bashed them "Oh, he only did , his death is unimportant" and crap like that?
Please tell me.
You mourned a NASCAR drivers death for years?
Dale Earnhardt represented something. He represented blue collar American hopes and dreams. He was an ordinary person off the track, but it seemed like he was immortal on the track (until the last lap of the 2001 Daytona 500). He worked his azz off to get where he got. Unlike celebirties like Anna Nicole (which the media still obsesses over), he didn't have all of his money and 7 Winston Cup Championships and all that just handed off to him. He drove the wheels off those cars and never gave up, until that fateful day.You mourned a NASCAR drivers death for years? I AM writing what I feel here. I feel all this ST mourning is overkill, especially on this forum.
You hold onto those words from t.v. sportscasters. I have a feeling that in your mommys basement where you live is nothing but a television and a computer.
Great? oh puleez. Put it in perspective and move on. I doubt that will happen after reading what you wrote.

It brings tears to my eyes everytime i see old video of that black number 3 car. It still brings tears to my eyes seeing the races and not seeing Dale Earnhardt battling for the win at Daytona.
Tater will be in here any minute...I can feel it....
Is he still mourning Dale Sr.?
