Bush finally concerned about Bin Laden.

Where have I said he has changed position? I just don't think it's on his mind at the present time nor has it been since shortly after his request for an amendment was not acted upon.

Do you invision him fuming over not being able to get it done resulting in his allowing other more pressing issues to go untended? That was stupid of me, of course you do.

I can play the :dork: game too:

Link? Can you give me some proof showing he does not think about this on a regular basis? Some quote where he says he hasn't thought about this since 2004? Something from the past week? Some proof that he doesn't cry himself to sleep at the thought of gays getting married in California?

Ugh.
Thankfully I don't think like that in real life...I'd feel ridiculous.

Good, you have Google. Now, show me the declaration of war.

Lets see, there have only been a few formal declarations of war.. the last being in 1942.

Which one would you like to see?

Korea, Vietnam, 1st Iraq, 2nd Iraq, Libya, Panama, Grenada, Somalia, Afghanistan or the Sudan?

I get what you're saying...he certainly could point out the history of the name. But the :dork:s who have a problem with "Hussein" wouldn't listen, and would continue on as if he never said anything.

Kind of like the birth certificate thing. He was born in Hawaii. Hawaii is considered part of America....it's commonly known to be one of the 50 United States. Many on the right seem to be ignorant about that fact.

Fight the Smears | The truth about Barack's birth certificate

Being a proud ex-resident of that State, I can say many Hawaiian state residents seem to be ignorant of that fact also.

Geeze, the way you guys are going on and on, you do realize he can't be re-elected right?

this was my first post here concerning gay marriage, and I only posted it because half you guys say it didn't happen

Now there's a "subtle" attempt to distract from an inconvenient bit of information.

Nope, bottom line, Bush has mentioned, but has not actively pursued it. He has done nothing in any way shape or form to amend the constitution regarding gay marriages, and he's not actively trying to get it amended now.

And other than what he said he'd LIKE to see, there is no proof or eveidence of him doing anything to amend the constitution.

He did call for an ammendment to the constitution ....

just because it never got anywhere doesn't mean he didn't try.

Giving a speech isn't the same as pursuing policy. Obama is great at reading speeches, but not much (actually, nothing) on follow through. Bush poorly read a speech, and hasn't followed through.

oh I don't know about his actual speech, I was just talking in the context of the article.

although, "An amendment to the constitution is necessary because activist courts have left our nation with no other choice" sounds pretty straight forward.

Bush will be gone in a few months and you'll be free to marry any guy you want to.. no worries.

I don't really care. He'll just be replaced with more of the same.

and I doubt my fiance' would like me leaving her for a guy ....

so I'll stick with my own orientation if that's ok.

You righties are :dork:s. Y'all go out of your way to defend this stool of a President we have.

"Yeah well.....Nobama's gonna negotiate with OBL."

"Nobama's gonna give OBL his own country."

This fread has to have some of the most inane comments I have ever seen. I'm not an Obama supporter, but some of the statements you righties make are flat out stupid. :killingme:killingme:killingme:killingme

Truly inane.

:roflmao:

Keep it up, Republican Underground members, you're actually starting to make forestool sound rational. :killingme
