Daughter took me one year for my birthday, it was delicious. My husband and I went a month later and it was lousy. We tried again a couple of weeks after that and wasnt any better.

I think all of the places it depends on the cook they have at the time. It always went to a local place and ranted and raved about how good it was. Picked it for my birthday dinner with the family and it wasn't that good. The only time.

Had heard the Dry Dock was good so gave it a try 10+ years ago. By far the worst meal I have had out plus had to deal with an condescending, arrogant ahole waiter. Usually I'll give a place a 2nd try thinking it may have been an off night but the waiter's attitude swore me off ever coming back.

Was that when we all went and nobody liked their food except me and Jetmonkey?

Bidens dropping approval numbers are the only the only thing holding him back from giving the dog whistle for more lockdowns/mask mandates.. the daily cases are getting up to absurd rates again so I would hold your breath on that

Crime sprawl as mentioned is becoming more and more prevalent from up north with more grotesque displays. Maybe I'm just becoming aware of it but this area has seemed like it's on the downtrodden. Imagine the response if a place in CC was firebombed, here you tell someone and there "oh yeah that's pretty crazy" and go about their daily life. DESENSITIZED

Ours in Anderson, IN just opened back up last weekend.

Went to get lunch at Fudruckers at the Mall yesterday, signs gone and boarded up.

I used to eat at Fudruckers in Florida back in the late 80s and early 90s and it was great. Recently I went to one in SC and it was a total disappointment, five guys burger absolutely destroyed it.

...Yep... It was a great restaurant when they butchered inhouse. A few different steaks and everything else ground into hamburger... Take a date to dinner and then walk over to Margarita Maggies...

I read recently that Fuddruckers is no more.

I ate at the original in San Antonia on one of my free weekends from USAF Bais back in late 1983. I adored their original steak sandwich and that amazing condiment bar.

Not sure heard it through the grapevine that Burroughs has sold the Farmers Market and everything from the market over to include the motel. Looked like the motel closed last week and had a closing sale this past Saturday Im guessing of the contents of the rooms.

I guess whoever inherited his properties want the money. I wonder about the shopping center, didn't he own that property too?

Ben owns or controls, outright, or by way of CHARLOTTE HALL CENTER INC, and/or a Trust, 12 parcels all the way to the intersection where the liquor store is. For the McDonalds, the Burger King, the Dairy Queen, The Sun Trust Bank parcels are most likely land leases; he controls the lands. And yup, he owns the shopping center as well which is just a bit over 36 acres. In total, he owns, controls, about 56 acres adjacent to Rt 5.

FOWLER PROPERTIES LLP, owns the rest that can be seen behind and south of the farmers market, the saw mill and the like.

As of yet, there has been no official sale of the properties in the County records.

They bought it from the Jarboes, three parcels totaling about 11 acres in 2016 for $1,350,000. That is if we are tlking about the same thing. Here is the link to St Mary's GIS. Zoom in and click on a parcel and a pop-up will pop-up, then click on the SDAT More info link shown.
