If ya ever notice, it's worse on nice sunny clear days?? People get on the top of the bridge and slow down to look around at all the pretty sail boats .... I have to drive across the bridge EVERY day, and I try to get out of work before 4, which means I hit the bridge at 4:30 not TOO bad then, but anytime after wow.. have been stuck as far south as Century 21 waiting for bridge trafficTonio said:I know several people who get the jitters when they drive over it. Maybe that's the reason. I've never had a problem with the bridge myself.
TWL said:Patuxant Beach Rd. South? Might concider getting to gether with the other residents along the road and start a HOA or other "Private Residence" group. Then try to have the County give your group exclusive rights to the road and make the road "Resident Only". Possibly put in a gate at each entrance.
Another option is to get together with the family that ownes/operates the school busses about halfway down Patuxant Beach Rd. South. Have them "drop off kids" every 10 feet during rush. After a couple days of that, people will think twice about bypassing the traffic on Rt 4.

11 years ago? You must be thinking of some other place.stormer41 said:I lived here about 11 years ago, just recently moved back to the area.
At that time I was living over in St. Mary's, but now living over in Solomons.
The traffic was just as bad then as it is now.

Are you a speed reader? You obviously didn't take the time to comprehend what I wrote.flowerchild said:It is unreal to me how people can be this way......S. Pax. Beach is a COUNTY road, meaning (since you are so pathetically uninformed) that all County taxpayers support that road, and therefore, are allowed access to it.
I totally agree that the traffic coming thgrough there must be better regulated, but you can't stop someone from breaking the law by breaking it yourself. Replies like this cause the original (good) point to loose steam.
