Yes.

Please quote the evolution part. I believe as humans we have evolved.

I didn't see the word evolution, just the reference to another past skull, that of Lucy and that it belonged to the "Australopithecus afarnesis species" (which I think would point to evulotion) And that skulls like this -- "was a landmark in the search for the origins of humanity" which again I think can be interpreted to not point towards creationism but evolution.

I'm still trying to figure out why people think that creation and evolution are mutually exclusive...

I think those that believe they came from an Ape did really come from an Ape or a speck of pond scum and those that think they came from God really did come from God  Personally, I believe I came from GOD, IMO

I am a Christian. I believe that all animals evolve to fit their environment. We can see this in humans from as little as 500 years ago. I don't believe we evolved from apes. I don't think most scientist believe that we evolved from apes. But do you think that we look just like the very first humans?

Given what they look like today, I think we have a tad more skin on our faces and we have eyes instead of sockets  -- And folks call me hard headed, they appear to have less fat content and are very bony.., appear a little rigid and are probably easier to get along with than most folks and are very quiet

:killingme: I could go on and on - on this...

Ok. So, is it difficult to believe that one animal species could evolve in two separate directions thus creating two similar, but distinctly different animals?

If we bring the Bible into the picture....Goliath, it said he wasn't the only giant. What were his people? We may never know, but it is interesting.

It certainly didn't say he was a big fat ape

But this is the problem...most people do not have a complete understanding of evolution. Most people in the scientific field do not believe we evolved from apes. The definition of evolution does not even suggest this.

Nobody likes to compromise, we're all closet game-theorists.:ohwell:

Let me guess, there was a big bang... BOOOMMMM... then plankton and amoeba in a pond started gettin' their groove on which created lizards, fish and then... unexpectedly and of course "unexplained" some more big bangs.... BOOOOOM... then it created walking fish that came out and then more big bang BOOMS, there's now apes, then with fine tuning over the years, we lost a few hairs, got a straighter back, somehow our eyes started getting more colors like green, hazel and blue and our brains started getting smater? Uhh... yeah! I'll buy that  I've probably pizzed off everyone noncreationist, that's just my silly view... no harm intended.
