hey tardlio, if you think the dealership can stay in business giving 4k for every peice of junk brought in without adding it to the cost of the new car somehow then you deserve what you get.

i guess you want to buy their car at wholesale while getting 4K for your LeCar :yay: like thats gonna happen

First of all respect shes a lady and your comments are a little out of line, second of all thats their incentive no one told them to do that so if they get ripped off its not like they never did it to any of their customers from what I hear and I deal with alot of people on a daily basis with the majority saying negative things about the overall experience. Just because you like them doesnt mean your opinion shouldnt be everyones.

Agree on the lack of respect but they (Leonardtown Ford) does not get ripped off. The game here is that "the price" reflects the $4000 trade in. For some reason they still inspect your trade to let you know what it's worth (to them). Yet when it comes down to the final price that value is not factored in. I actually thought about buying a used truck there but changed my mind when I found out the "good deal" was really having me pay more then Kelly Blue Book showed as the average retail price. Here I though the price on the vehicle was going to be reduced by the $4000. That price would then have been just below KBB. Considering it was not exactly an economy model I thought it was a fair deal. It wasn't fair when it became clear the true price was more like $3000 above KBB.

As for service at the local St. Mary's dealers (2 ford, one dodge). It's been hit or miss. Having spoken to a couple of people who worked in the business here, I understand it's tough for them to keep good technicians. I was told one time to ask for a specific technician at dealership A because he was the only decent mechanic there.

You have some really excellent points. I have seen Leonardtown Ford constantly have ads in the employment sections.

I was wondering why? Is it because people get there and just aren't happy with the way they are being treated, or.....????
