The Eagles have clinched the NFC east. The Redskins played them about even three weeks ago until things fell apart in the 4th quarter when the Skins were 1st and goal. Coulda, woulda, shoulda.

Yes, the Eagles should win.

BUT the Skins are coming around and have motivation. They've been in every game and played much better against the Steelers, a common opponent, than the Eagles.

And, yes, on any given Sunday pretty much any under dog can win. Happens every week.

Ravens gave up 24 points in the 4th quarter last week. THAT right there sounds impossible.

A falling apart at the seams Dallas beat a just about playoff bound Seatle.

It's why we play the game!

I'm tellin, ya. The Eagles are out for blood. After their loss to the Steelers, even though EVERYONE saw it coming, The Eagles have been on a war path. This is where the entire team starts to perfect every aspect of the game. They took too many things for granted in teh years past and wound up getting smeared in the NFC game. Not this year.

Couple of points...

#36 did not play during the 1st meeting because Gibbs had to Taylor for and driving.

Taylor played that game. He got a personal foul for giving TO a fore arm to the head after the whistle.

Anyone who has been around since summer knows I have predicted all manner of glory for the Skins THIS season including a Superbowl win.

Now, considering the, well, the 'scenic' route they are taking to get there, one would have to say two things:

1. I have been, perhaps, mildly over-optimistic

and

2. I'm due.

If I keep telling you, every day, I'm gonna win the lottery AND I buy a ticket every day, sooner or later I'm likely to win.

Saddly, I've shown just about as much skill in my Redskins predictions as it takes to win the lottery. Yet...

I shall endevour to persevere.
