consider it your contribution to a cleaner environment, think of all the trees saved and the landfills spared.
it would be more useful as toilet paper.
Don't need it anymore. My bird died so the cage doesn't need lining. The dog would just look at it and whine until I let her out.

So when the newspapers all go away what are we going to use to cover the picnic table when we pick crabs?

Pizza Hut and Burger King Coupon pages.

On second thought... there should be a ####-ton of "I'm with Her" posters leftover!

I pulled up my renewal receipt from 12JUN. I just got off the phone with them and she verified that all papers will merge into one and will be delivered weekly, beginning next Friday. No partial refund due since it is no longer twice a week.

Received this email today, finally letting us know about the changes.

Dear valued readers:

Effective Friday, July 17, 2020, the Maryland Independent, The Enterprise and The Calvert Recorder will join together to begin publishing as the Southern Maryland News, celebrating “Our Community, Your Story” each and every Friday.

Additionally, in lieu of the Wednesday print edition, subscribers will receive a daily (Monday—Thursday) subscriber only exclusive e-newsletter called the Coffee Edition, debuting on Wednesday, July 15, while continuing to enjoy 24/7 access to the newly designed somdnews.com featuring breaking news, lively features and commentary, entertainment, information and advertising.

This new and exciting product line-up consisting of the Southern Maryland News print edition, the exclusive e-newsletter Coffee Edition and the somdnews.com newly designed website is rising out of COVID-19 as a dynamic integrated media consortium. These products are focused on delivering timely and relevant news, information of interest and advertising serving Charles County, St. Mary’s County, and Calvert County communities.

I quit getting some magazines because they was mostly advertisements.
THAT -

and the fact that they cost more than a small book with almost no material in them anymore.
Used to be a good magazine took all afternoon to read the content and cost a couple bucks.
