I'm sure most of you know by now that my beloved wife passed away a little over a month ago. Married almost twentynine years. She fought a very brave battle with at least 4 types of cancer for about sixteen months. She was the most loving, caring and life loving person I have ever known. I will forever miss her, but I am also glad her suffering is over and it was much quicker than it might have been. I love you, baby. Enjoy your eternal perfect beach.

In My Opinion
She will certainly be missed by anyone that ever met her.
Only met her once in person, but her laugh and her smile were infectious.

I have never known anyone to go through what she must have been going through for the last year and still keep such a positive attitude.

I didn't know you guys were married, and I didn't know that she was gone.

My deepest condolences.

Desertrat, I never had the opportunity to meet Melanie, but enjoyed her posts very much and felt that she was a friend even though we did not personally know each other. I admired her for the dignity and grace she showed while fighting her battle. Thanks so much for sharing the pictures with us and allowing me to put a face with her name.

Your loss is felt, my friend and though we do not know each other, my heart goes out to you friend for a road shared, (My first wife passed away in 1983 when she was just 28 from Lymphoma and breast cancer). You never lose what you had, and time diminishes but doesn't banish the memories.
