Added Angel

DR...now you have an additional Angel on your shoulder. I was honored to have met her and even when she was sick; she always had that "twinkle" in her eyes.

God bless you and your family and my sincere thoughts & prayers are with you all.

Desertrat, I never had the opportunity to meet Melanie, but enjoyed her posts very much and felt that she was a friend even though we did not personally know each other. I admired her for the dignity and grace she showed while fighting her battle. Thanks so much for sharing the pictures with us and allowing me to put a face with her name.

:buddies: to Mel.

I'm sure most of you know by now that my beloved wife passed away a little over a month ago. Married almost twentynine years. She fought a very brave battle with at least 4 types of cancer for about sixteen months. She was the most loving, caring and life loving person I have ever known. I will forever miss her, but I am also glad her suffering is over and it was much quicker than it might have been. I love you, baby. Enjoy your eternal perfect beach.

I can't imagine what it feels like to loose a lifelong mate.

Hang on to those 29 years of memories and drive on., I know her fight couldn't have been easy on you.... Best to you.

I'm so very sorry to hear this! Although we never met, I knew she was fighting it with everthing she had. I also could tell that she was just a wonderful person and was loved by so many here on the boards and IRL!!! I am sorry to hear this news and sorry for your loss....at the same time I am happy that she is pain-free and resting in peace.

I never had the pleasure of meeting either of you but offer my deepest sympathies. It sounds like you were both blessed to have each other. And now she is at peace and in a better place, may your memories bring you nothing but joy.

Met Mel one time and found her to be better in person than on the forums. She was quite an individual and is missed by a load of people.

Mel was one of a kind. I miss that lady and her bike riding stories. I am lucky to have known and ridden with her.

RIP lady.
