Baby Chase was born at 158 this afternoon, all is well... I feel great !!
The labor and delivery nurses were fabulous and I'm in my own room now... baby is beside me and all is well
I'm very pleased with the experience so far, I'm sitting up and ready to GO !! Not on any pain meds yet, but we'll see, it's only been 7 hours since the operation.

My monster wouldn't stay all bundled and neat like that..lol she kicked her way out everytime they wrapped her.

Congrats, what a cutie! So when are you headed home? My son also refused to stay bundled, would not keep his little arms wrapped up for anything from day one! Two years later....nothing's changed. We finally figured out that the reason he'd scream while getting a haircut was because he hated his arms under the cape. Now I just bring a change of clothes and have them leave the cape off.

Tell me about the damn ankle swelling?? It's just now hitting me ??? I had very little swelling of ankles/feet during my pregnancy, but today....holly crap !!!
What is going on ??? My ankles are huge !!! Anyone have any suggestions??

My feet and ankles swelled up so big I thought they were going to pop! It took almost 3 weeks before they got any better.My doctor ended up giving me a water pill to take once a day for a week ..It really helped !!! Unless you get a water pill all you can do is basically wait it out they will get better eventually ...I'm sorry I know how bad it hurts and what a pain it is well for me it was anyway...

Hey thanks!! I had no idea and no one warned me at all (Dr.s included). My shoes won't even fit, and they are slide ons !!! I'm going to try and buy those otc water pills as suggested... THANK YOU !!!!!!!!!!!!!
