Unfortunately unless you have a digital package you will not have and info button to give you a description of the show or the ability too look at what is on at 11pm when it's only 6pm but you can always purchase a TV guide or get the one that comes out in the Friday Enterprise local newspaper. You may also be able to fiddle around on the website to see if it has that function.

I am interested in what you paid in California as well as to how many different companies you had to choose from for cable service? I pay around 160.00 per month and that includes the two little convertor boxes as well as two Digital VIP boxes, I also have HBO, my internet and phone included in this.

When I had Verizon for home phone & Internet I paid 120.00 per month for that bill and close to 70.00 to Metrocast. So in my case I am saving money from what I used to pay. Overall this area is way more expensive than people would think. Just wait until some of your other bills start rolling in electric, water and sewer, propane etc.

I had a lot of choices in San Diego... plus my house was new and it was wired for regular cable, fiberoptic and a satellite dish. I chose Uverse and my bill was $127 for the top tier cable and internet with HD boxes for 3 rooms...

What the HELL is your freaking problem???? Get the hell over yourself already. Jesus! I had NO choice but to move here because my fiancé serves his country in the MILITARY. I'm not bitching about southern Maryland; I'm bitching about the exorbitant cost of the cable company, man. Get a grip already. So far, the people here are NOT very friendly... what's the deal?!!

WOWWWWW!!!! ARE YOU FOR REAL???? I have said thank you to ALL of the friendly advice I got before I came out here to EVERYONE. I am NOT a bitch. You're just being a rude #######. I've tried talking to a lot of people out in public and for the most part, people have zero interest in talking at all. I'm a very friendly person and it is NOT fair for you to #### all over me on this forum. Apparently the locals are pissed because of all of the military presence and the changes it has made to the local communities. It's not my fault, man. It IS what it IS, right?! Thanks for the friendly welcome.

Why am I all of a sudden being bullied on this site??? Why am I all of a sudden not a nurse? This is so weird. I'm truly shocked by how rude some of you are being to me. I have been an RN since 1997 and have served all of the communities in which I have lived. I have given my life to helping other people and have been ripped from my home because my fiancé serves his country. So, I complain about a cable bill being high, and now I'm a no good bitch that isn't a nurse and should just shut my mouth and go home? Thanks, Southern Maryland.

You don't know anything about me HANK. What do YOU do to serve the greater good of the people of our country? As a matter of fact, I love my patients and the work that I do. I have scrubbed and washed the bodies of homeless men, sat with families as their loved ones are passing away, healed wounds that were over ten years old, gotten people through the grieving of having a new ostomy with acid burns over their entire abdomens screaming in pain... you know NOTHING.

It has nothing to do with the military, people here are what I would describe as "clannish". They are generally friendly but they don't let you "in.". Locals also get pissed when people move to the sticks and then bitch. Be thankful you're not stuck with DSL or without wired internet service as many are.

I have not yet been able to make it to a meet and greet because Fridays are tough for me, but you might try that. I hope to go soon.

You have in the past came across as uppity. I have no idea if you are, probably not but more about culture shock. I give the benefit of the doubt, as I know it's hard to move to a place that is so different.

Having said that, if you've like to meet for coffee or something one day to chat, then let me know. I think your son is the same age as mine too, and I'm also from your home town

Just wish them a good day and leave it at that. It's a sad thing they don't have anything else to do but there you have it. Personally I think it turns them on when a good argument is going and they are sitting at their computer with their pants down going "OH BABY HIT THAT SEND BUTTON" :]
