I see a crappy video that does not tell the whole story:whistle:

copy and paste that video so I can watch then. Cause the one I saw clearly showed the cops hand extend into the woman's back which a fall of several steps occured right there after. See the rest of my first post about my real problem with the whole event.

Look I am the first to think many police officers abuse thier power.

However it is not clear if in the video when the big ole girl turns to the cop she spits in his face? Further she seemed intoxicated... she turned to run her mouth he insist she keep moving her drunk azz falls down the stairs. The video is pretty crappy. That is my point. Soon SOMDCOP will be here to set you straight

I agree that you can't really see if he was spit on or not although it does not look like it based on head movements and reactions, it does however appear that the push, no matter how hard it was caused the fall.

It is funny to me how things changed once a tape of the incident became available.

I was intrested to see SOMDCOP defend this one, looks like he has a proxy here for him early this morning though.

I hope you know I aint defending SOMDCOP's position. I just feel like the little bit of video does not describe the entire situtation. The only reason I can understand that an officer would be escorting one person from the club is because she was about to get into trouble. She was obviously a little pain in the azz as proof by her 15 seconds of fame. I truly do not feel the persuiason by the officer was the cause of the fall. More likely her intoxication was. Wonder what her BAC was???

Look out, Outta the way, move over, known cop defender here!!

The cop pushed the chick. Case closed. Penalty should have been more severe. 2 day, unpaid suspension and a letter put in his file.

I am...

...not a cop apologist, for sure. I say this video is BS; she may as well work in pro wrestling; the only thing she didn't do was flail her arms fish flop on the ground. She had a hand on the rail and her first instinct when he nudges her is to let go??? Most people instinctively reach out.

He nudged her. She took a dive. That's my thought.

The push with the forearm came while her head was turned toward him. If, as has been suggested, she had been imbibing, I'm sure her reactions were dulled and her sense of balance impaired. She has a lot of padding that prevented more injury than a twisted ankle (but, yes, it did look like a professional pratfall). Thousands of dollars for a twisted ankle? I think not.

She may have unintentionally spit as she was yelling at him (many do when excited or under the influence) and it wouldn't be evident on the poor quality video. But he did push her forward. She was positioned in such a way that a shove might have precipitated the fall. Both probably share responsibility.

Would you settle...

...for 'nudged'?

She was not cooperating and I do understand the intense pressure on cops to be perfect all of the time. I want them in trouble, docked, re-training, whatever is warranted when they screw up by losing their cool or being malicious. I also want to give them the benefit of the doubt every chance I get. There are plenty of far more egregious offenses by officers than this, so, I think too bad for her and some sort of warning or reprimand for him.

Video Of Woman Pushed Down Stairs Prompts Calls For Charges Against Officer - Orlando News Story - WKMG Orlando

Why not just own up to it?? Maybe something along the lines of "I gave her a shove but didn't mean to make her fall"

The lying about it is what I have the biggest problem with.

Then the Dept. giving him 8-hours suspended with pay. What a joke. "He may of messed up his paperwork" .....Ha right.
Why would a cop defend this? As I see it, the cop may or may not have been justified by pushing the girl. The cop, however, lied when he said he tried to stop her from falling, therefore everything else he says is suspect.

A police officer's integrity is the most important tool we have. When we loose that, then we should no longer be police officers.

In My Opinion
well, Im all for supporting the police and if she spit at him or something, I suppose she could have been pushed harder.

however if she was just not moving fast enough for him and he pushed her.,,

well, lets just say that if it were my wife, or mother or daughter getting pushed by a cop like that, I would seriously just end his animal existence.

I have no problem removing a cancer from society.

I can agree with that. If an officer can no longer be credible, why is that person still an officer? If you lie in a report, you can lie under oath and someone could very well end up in jail and their life ruined because of it.

Okay I watched the video. If she shuts her cake hole and gets the hell out of the club instead of trying to 'keep it real', there is no incident. When a bouncer tells me to leave, I leave. I have no sympathy for this human turd

I'd also like to call an investigation into her claims of employment and enrollment in a graduate program.

And seriously; walk much? That was barely a shove. More anti-police media hysteria. And you love it for some reason.

We get it AK, you hate cops.

BS, I'll defend them everytime if I think they are in the right. I work with several former police officers and all of them are good guys and hard workers.

I hate cops that think they are above the law and or do not defend the constitution.
