One more weekend at Luray to end the season?
I'm also heading to Myrtle Beach the weekend of Oct 8th, friends 50th,, cant miss that. I wont be dragging the camper though, Heather is getting her learners on Monday and she will be driving the truck down that weekend..

If you didn't like Camp Merryland, stay away from Seaside Campground. Another hole in the wall a loud bar right on site.

As far as i know seaside vies bar is closed nobody is running the resturant either.

This place was recently taken over by a cult. Do not stay here! The religious fanatic who owns it has recently allowed an End Timer cultist to "manage" it. They wrongfully terminated the best worker in the place and slandered him all over town. They tried to unlawfully evict him and they are killing all the animals because the "preacher" man from Florida believes that animals are demonic. The family who owns it is totally dysfunctional and they charge double the rate SMECO charges for electric. They have falsely accused people who live there of wrongdoing, for which they have no proof and the owner Ann is just like Pontious Pilot. She is a nasty woman who is very ignorant and claims she is a "woman of God". The man in the office,who is not a paid employee is "disabled" and likes to watch little girls in the pool, and to look at porn on the office computer. The whole family is on drugs or alcoholics and they condemn everyone else for their lifestyles. The only good employee was fired, and none of the "staff" is paid on the books. They are Hypocrites and they rip people off. All she is doing is looking for tax breaks and they are out to make money for the "fellowship". The man is the office is extremely rude and told my husband and I to "shut up" when we complained about the meter readings being consistently wrong! The new manager also told me and my husband that he hates "######s" and "mexicants". Do not stay here you will be sorry!

RR.......I lived there during my divorce a few years ago, wasn't that bad as a temporary home. They did have a Sunday mass.......
